Stupid (but fun!) Poll...

I was bored and watching the Spike TV Bond marathon, and found myself singing one of these at the top of my lings, so I wondered....

Happy Christmas to all!!

I hope you all have a terrific and safe holiday. Actually, I wish you all a terrific and safe everyday.

I'd wish for Peace on Earth, but if it came true, I'd lose my best story material.

I don't know what's worse -
That my stepmother and I use the same hair product. (it's a molding creme)
Or that I know that I discovered she uses the creme because I was in her bathroom looking at what hair care products she uses....

Yes, it appears that despite some evidence to the contrary (my passion for sports, my love of video games, my disdain for Cher and Streisand), I am most definitely gay.

Three-for-Three!!

In recent years, I have become a reality TV fan. I'm not into them all - the Temptation Islands, Real Worlds, and Fear Factors aren't my sort of thing. I don't go for the sensational. I do, on occasion, go for the fabulous (love that Queer Eye). I tend to stick with the competitions. I'm a big Survivor fan, and I've gotten into the Apprentice this year, and (I'm so ashamed) my friend Mo got me hooked (HOOKED) on America's Next Top Model.
Well, all three series wrapped up this week, and I am so happy that the people I wanted to win ALL triumphed. In fact, the model who I liked the most in the semi-final stage of ANTM (when there were 18 girls) was the one who won. Ahhhh, that plucky Eva. I do love her so. I wouldn't go straight for her, mind you, but I'd love to go shopping with her.
So I'll try not to complain the rest of the season if my reality picks are given a raw deal. I've had a good week. At least with the reality shows...

Score me some good home Chai!!!

I've never been one to drink coffee, but recently I have become very fond of the lowfat Chai Latte at Starbuck's. Wishing to duplicate the experience at home (because really, Starbuck's is SUCH an enormous ripoff) I purchased some of their Tazo concentrate, and that wasn't half bad. I was hoping to broaden my experience though and was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with home Chai?

Another Quick Grammy Note

I never thought I'd endorse Britney Spears for a Grammy, but Toxic should
*definitely* win Best Dance Recording. That faux-string line makes me want
to shake it, and I don't care who knows.

Now all the Internet can share my opinion!

Seriously though, what infinitessimal percentage of the world's users will actually stop here? Guesses are encouraged.

In any event, how's this for an initial post:
For the first time in my memory, I own (and like!) all the albums in a Grammy category!
The nominees for Best Alternative Album are:

Medulla
Björk

Franz Ferdinand
Franz Ferdinand

Uh Huh Her
PJ Harvey

Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Modest Mouse

A Ghost Is Born
Wilco

Personally, I think the Wilco and PJ Harvey albums are okay, but the other three are keepers. I enjoy them all immensely. I would love to see Medulla's creativity rewarded, but expect that Franz Ferdinand will win. Maybe it should - I definitely listen to it more than Medulla. And the Grammy's are, of course, all about my musical tastes.

Anyway - that's it. First post. Done.
